仰望着群星

我很清楚

即便我下了地狱

它们也不会在乎

但在这尘世

人或兽类的无情

我们最不必去担心

当星辰以一种

我们无以回报的

激情燃烧着

我们怎能心安理得

倘若爱不可能有对等

愿我是爱得更多的那人

自认的仰慕者如我这般

星星们都不会瞧上一眼

此刻看着它们

我不能说自己整天

思念着一个人

倘若星辰都已殒灭

或消失无踪

我会学着观看

一个空无的天穹

并感受它全然暗黑的庄严

尽管这会花去

Looking up at the stars I know quite well

That for all they care I can go to hell

But on earth indifference is the least

We have to dread from man or beast

How should we like it were stars to burn

With a passion for us we could not return

If equal affection can't be

Let the more loving one be me

Admirer as I think I am

Of stars that do not give a damn

I can't now I see them say

I missed one terribly all day

Were all stars to disappear or die

I should learn to look at an empty sky

And feel its total dark sublime
