简介 · · · · · · 　　Since signing with the world famous DJ Clue and his record 　　label "Desert Storm" in 2004, Thara's singing career has been 　　in full-flight. Her single, 揧ou Want It" exploded out of the 　　mix tape circuit and onto national radio, becoming a mainstay 　　on Hot 97's radio rotation and peaking as high as 23 on their 　　playlist in the summer of 2004. Like a brush fire, other 　　stations around the country promptly took heed and "You Want It" 　　began receiving solid rotation on over 60 stations nationwide. 　　In June and July of 2004, "You Want It" also became one of the 　　most downloaded songs in the country, enabling Thara to get 　　heavily booked all year in clubs and festivals around the 　　country. 　　In March, she was flown to Australia for a two-week tour, the 　　response to her was so good that Thara returned to tour in 　　Australia again, in August. This time doing TRL and television 　　promotionals for her newest single, "Shake It" and a featured 　　performance on Sony/BMG recording artist Israel's single, 　　"Work Da Middle pt 2." This song was recently nominated for 　　best Urban song and video in the Australia Urban Awards. 　　Thara's debut album is a big POP/R&B project which already 　　boasts heavyweights like John Legend, Fabolous, Fat Man Scoop, 　　and co-writes with Makeba, Lil Eddie, Shamora Crawford and 　　Teron Biel and her production team, The Orange Factory. 　　Her musical direction extends far beyond the urban zone with 　　her appeal reaching Asia and India as well as the UK and 　　European markets.
